(Past Perfect), “but”, “so”, “instead” 같은 연결어, 그리고 마지막 부분의 개인적인 반응입니다.

Band 6

I would like to talk about a plan I have to change시제 오류: 올바른 형태는 “had to change” last April, a picnic by the Charvak reservoir on Saturday with six classmates from my course. We organise시제 오류: 올바른 형태는 “had been organising” it for two weeks and everybody had a job, and I was in charge of the way부정확한 단어, “route”가 더 정확함 and the transport. We agreed to leave at eight in the morning. But on Friday night the forecast say시제 오류: 올바른 형태는 “forecast said” heavy rain for all weekend, and the road to the lake is very muddy, so we knew the plan was not good기본적인 표현, Lexical Resource 점수를 제한함. We wrote many messages, and then we decide시제 오류: 올바른 형태는 “decided” not to cancel and to go to my friend Timur’s house, which has a big living room. We took the food that we prepared, and Timur’s mother gave us two board games. I was disappointed first, because I worked hard for this plan and I wanted the lake, but at the end I enjoyed it more, because we played to late evening and nobody was afraid about the road. I learned that a good day is about people and not about the place.

Band 7

I’d like to talk about a plan I had to change last April: a Saturday picnic by the Charvak reservoir with six classmates from my course. We’d been organising it for a fortnight, everyone had a job, I was in charge of the route and transport, and we’d agreed to leave at eight in the morning. But on Friday night the forecast changed to heavy rain for the whole weekend, and the road to the lake can gets동사 형태 오류: 올바른 형태는 “can get” very muddy, so it quickly became clear that the original plan had fallen through계획이 무산될 때 쓰는 자연스러운 구동사. After a lot of messages, we decided to move everything to my friend Timur’s house, which has a big living room, instead of calling the whole day off동명사와 함께 쓴 “Instead of”를 정확하게 사용. We brought the food we’d already prepared, and Timur’s mother lent us two board games. In the end, I enjoyed it more than I’d expected“explain” 줄에 답하는 성찰적 담화 표지: we played until late and nobody had to worry about getting home in the dark. I was disappointed at first, but it taught me that a good day depends on the people more than the place.

Band 8

I’d like to talk about a plan I had to change last April: a Saturday picnic by the Charvak reservoir with six classmates from my course. We’d been organising it for a fortnight, everyone had a job, I was in charge of the route and transport, and we’d agreed to leave at eight in the morning. But on Friday night the forecast changed to heavy rain for the whole weekend, and the road to the lake can get very muddy, so it quickly became clear that the original plan wasn’t sensible. After a lot of messages, we decided that, instead of calling it off, we’d move everything to my friend Timur’s house, which has a big living room. We brought the food we’d already prepared, and Timur’s mother lent us two board games. In the end, I enjoyed it more than I’d expected“explain” 줄에 답하는 성찰적 담화 표지: we played until late, nobody had to worry about getting home before dark, and we talked more than we would have outdoors조건 표현의 생략을 자연스럽게 사용. I was disappointed at first, but it taught me that a good day depends on the people far more than on the place.

  1. Do you think it is better to plan carefully or to be spontaneous?
  2. Why do some people find unexpected changes stressful?
  3. Are young people today less likely to make long-term plans than their parents were?
  4. How do sudden changes affect people at work?
  5. Should schools teach students how to plan and how to adapt?

변경 전에 정해 둔 일에는 “we'd agreed to leave at eight”처럼 과거완료를 쓰고, 실제로 일어난 일에는 과거 시제를 쓰세요.
