실제 세부 내용을 담아 하나의 방법을 들려주는 편이 “I read, I listened, I spoke, I wrote”보다 자연스럽게 들리고, “how it helped” 부분도 예를 들어 답하기 쉬워집니다.

I’d like to talk about something I did to learn English when I was sixteen. At that time I was hoping to study abroad, so I needed to improve quickly. At first it was hard going, since the actors spoke so fast that I kept pausing the video, but within a few months I could follow far more, and one day I got through a whole episode without subtitles. That was the moment I realised the habit was working이야기의 전환점을 분명히 알리는 안내 표현, and I felt enormously proud.
- 6점 답변의 시제 오류(“I need”, “try to use”, “the actors talk”)는 7점 답변에서 정확해지고 8점 답변에서도 오류가 없습니다.
- 6점 답변은 그 프로그램을 “very easy”라고 설명하고, 7점 답변은 “everyday and easy to follow”라고 하며, 8점 답변은 이를 유지하면서 “hard going”, “sharpened my listening”, “widened my vocabulary”처럼 더 다양한 어휘를 더합니다.
- 6점 답변은 평범한 감정(“very proud and happy”)으로 끝나고, 7점 답변은 실수에 관한 이유를 더하며, 8점 답변은 같은 이유를 분사구문 하나로 압축합니다: “having learned that they are simply part of the process”.
- What do you think is the best way to learn a foreign language?
- Why do some people find it easier to learn languages than others?
- Do you think technology has made it unnecessary to learn other languages?
- Should children start learning a foreign language at primary school?
