Primary schools should make learning a musical instrument compulsory, because it helps children to concentrate in other lessons. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Band 6
Nowadays many people discuss whether music should be compulsory in primary schools. Some people think it is useful and other people think it is not necessary. In my opinion, I agree with this idea because it helpประธานกับกริยาไม่สอดคล้องกัน ควรเป็น “helps” children to concentrate, but only in the first years of school.
Firstly“Firstly” กับ “Secondly” เป็นตัวเชื่อมเพียงอย่างเดียวระหว่างย่อหน้าเนื้อหา, playing an instrument is good for concentration. When a child learnประธานกับกริยาไม่สอดคล้องกัน ควรเป็น “learns” the recorder, he must watch the music all the time, and if he do a mistakeใช้กริยาผิดและไม่สอดคล้องกับประธาน ควรเป็น “makes a mistake” the other children hear it. So he learns to concentrate and this is very important for his study. It is also a good habit for the future, and he learns to be patient. Many children have a problem to concentrate in other lessons, so music can help them with this.
Secondly, music is good for cooperation. Also, music is fun for children and they like to do it with their friends. Children play together so they cooperate and this is a good thing for the societyระบุแนวคิดแต่ไม่ได้อธิบาย ไม่มีตัวอย่างว่าการเล่นดนตรีด้วยกันสอนเรื่องความร่วมมือได้อย่างไร. I beleiveสะกดผิด ควรเป็น “believe” this is a big advantage of learning music at school.
However, I think music should not be compulsory for all years. When children are older, they can be forced to play and then they will not like music, and some children stop to go to the lesson. This is not good for them and it is a waste of time in the school.
In conclusion“In conclusion” เป็นสัญญาณเดียวของย่อหน้าสรุป ซึ่งหลังจากนั้นกลับพูดซ้ำประเด็นก่อนหน้า, music is good for children and it is important in school. I think schools should make it compulsory, so this is my opinionข้อจำกัดเรื่องช่วงปีแรกจากบทนำหายไป จุดยืนจึงพร่ามัว. Music helps children to concentrate and to cooperate, and it is good for them. I hope that schools will think about this.
Band 7
Some people believe that primary schools should make learning a musical instrument compulsory because it helps children to concentrate in other lessons. I agree with this view to a large extent, but I think the requirement should apply only to the early years of primary schoolจุดยืนและข้อจำกัดอยู่ในประโยคเดียวที่ผู้อ่านสรุปซ้ำได้.
The main reason is that playing an instrument trains concentration. A child learning the recorder has to keep their attention on the music for the whole piececollocation ที่เป็นธรรมชาติ และ “piece” เป็นคำที่ถูกต้องสำหรับดนตรี, because a mistake is heard by the whole class straight awayเหตุผลที่อยู่เบื้องหลังตัวอย่างอยู่ในประโยคเดียวกัน. Pupils who have practised this for ten minutes at a time are better prepared to a reading lessonใช้คำบุพบทผิด ควรเป็น “prepared for”, since it is the same skill used on different material. Over a term, this repeated effort becomes a habit.
Another reasonคำบอกทิศทางธรรมดาที่เหมาะสม ย่อหน้ายังอยู่ที่หัวข้อเดียว is that music teaches children to cooperate. In a class band, each child’s part sounds incomplete alone, so they must listen to the others and adjust. Over time the group also depends on each child, which gives every one of them a reason to take the lessons seriously. This is a skill that written exercises seldom develop, and it means that even a shy child can feel part of a group by the end of term.
However, I do not think the rule should continue for the whole of school life. Older pupils who are forced to continue may start to dislike music, which would cancel the benefit of the earlier lessonsrelative clause ที่อ้างถึงทั้งแนวคิด ใช้ได้ถูกต้อง. A choice would let those who enjoy music continue, while others could try a different activity. In conclusion, I agree that music should be compulsory in the first years, after which children should be able to choose.
Band 8
The case for compulsory music in primary school rests on what an instrument actually trains. I largely agree that it should be compulsory, because the claim about concentration holds, but I would limit the requirement to the early yearsตอบทั้งข้ออ้าง เหตุผล และข้อจำกัดไว้ในประโยคเดียว, when habits of attention are still being formed.
The strongest argument is that an instrument demands a kind of attention that few other tasks ask of a seven-year-oldเจาะจงกลุ่มอายุเดียว ข้ออ้างจึงพอดีและแม่นยำ. A child learning the recorder cannot drift: a note played late is audible to everyone, so the lesson itself corrects a wandering mind. The effect is gradual, but it accumulates over a term. Pupils who have spent ten minutes holding a rhythm are better placed to sit through a reading lesson, since the skill is the same one applied to different materialเหตุผลอยู่ในประโยคเดียวกัน จึงไม่ต้องมีคำเชื่อมเพิ่ม.
A second benefit is that music teaches children to work with others. In a class ensemble, each child’s part is incomplete alone, so playing well means listening to the rest and adjusting. The dependence is mutual: the group cannot play without any one of its members, and each child learns that early. This is a lesson in cooperation that a worksheet cannot deliver“This” ชี้ไปที่สิ่งเดียวที่ชัดเจน คือประสบการณ์เล่นวงที่เพิ่งอธิบาย, and it explains why even a reluctant child often values the group performance at the end of term.
The requirement should not continue indefinitely, howeverข้อจำกัดที่สัญญาไว้ในบทนำถูกขยายความ ไม่ได้แค่ประกาศ. An older pupil forced to continue an instrument may come to resent it, which would undo the very attitude the early lessons builtแม่นยำและเป็นธรรมชาติ ไม่ใช้คำโอ้อวด. Those who enjoy music will continue anyway; those who do not are better served by other activities that build the same habits. Compulsory music in the first years, followed by a choice of their own, therefore seems a defensible arrangementnoun phrase ที่มี participle phrase แทรก ใส่เครื่องหมายวรรคตอนได้สะอาด.
อะไรทำให้คะแนนเปลี่ยน
หมายเหตุด้านล่างอิงเกณฑ์การให้คะแนนที่เผยแพร่ ตามที่เว็บไซต์นี้สรุปความไว้ ทุกวลีที่ยกมาอยู่ในเรียงความของระดับคะแนนที่ระบุในประโยคนั้น
Task Response
เรียงความ Band 6 เลือกข้าง (“I agree with this idea”) และตอบคำถามแล้ว แต่ให้พื้นที่กับแนวคิดหนึ่งมากกว่า ใน Band 6 ความร่วมมือมีคำอธิบายเพียงประโยคเดียว “Children play together so they cooperate and this is a good thing for the society” จุดยืนช่วงท้ายก็พร่ามัว เพราะ “I think schools should make it compulsory, so this is my opinion” ลืมข้อจำกัดเรื่องช่วงปีแรกจากบทนำ
Band 7 ระบุข้อจำกัดครั้งเดียวแล้วยึดไว้ “I agree with this view to a large extent, but I think the requirement should apply only to the early years of primary school” แนวคิดทั้ง 2 ข้อได้รับการอธิบาย เช่น “because a mistake is heard by the whole class straight away”
Band 8 ปิดแต่ละแนวคิดให้จบ ย่อหน้าสุดท้ายเปิดด้วย “The requirement should not continue indefinitely, however” แล้วโต้แย้งข้อจำกัดนั้น ไม่ใช่แค่ประกาศ เหตุผลสนับสนุนเจาะจงกับกรณีนี้ “a kind of attention that few other tasks ask of a seven-year-old” เป็นข้ออ้างที่ผู้อ่านทดสอบได้ ช่อง Task Response (การตอบโจทย์) ที่ Band 7 มีถ้อยคำที่คำอธิบายนี้สรุปความไว้
Coherence and Cohesion
Band 8 ส่งต่อโดยไม่ต้องมีป้ายบอก ประโยค “since the skill is the same one applied to different material” เชื่อมเหตุผลกับข้ออ้างภายในประโยคเดียว และ “This is a lesson in cooperation that a worksheet cannot deliver” ชี้กลับไปที่สิ่งเดียวที่ชัดเจน ช่อง Coherence and Cohesion (ความต่อเนื่องและการเชื่อมโยง) ที่ Band 6 อธิบายรูปแบบที่เป็นกลไก
Lexical Resource
คำศัพท์ใน Band 6 กว้างพอสำหรับโจทย์ แต่ยังเห็นความพยายามที่พลาด “do a mistake” ใช้กริยาผิด “beleive” สะกดผิด และ “a good thing for the society” เป็นถ้อยคำธรรมดาที่มี article (คำนำหน้านาม) เกินมา
Band 7 ยืดหยุ่นและส่วนใหญ่แม่นยำ “keep their attention on the music for the whole piece” เป็นคำคู่ที่เป็นธรรมชาติ และยังเหลือข้อผิดพลาด 1 จุดใน “better prepared to a reading lesson” ซึ่งต้องใช้คำบุพบทอื่น
Band 8 ใช้คำเพราะถูกต้อง “undo the very attitude the early lessons built” บอกสิ่งที่ต้องการสื่อโดยไม่ใช้คำหายาก และ “audible to everyone” แสดงชัดว่าทำไมความผิดพลาดจึงซ่อนไม่ได้ ช่อง Lexical Resource (คลังคำศัพท์) ที่ Band 8 อธิบายการควบคุมแบบนี้
Grammatical Range and Accuracy
เรียงความ Band 6 ผสมประโยคเดี่ยวกับประโยคซับซ้อน และข้อผิดพลาดเป็นเรื่องเล็กที่เกิดซ้ำ ใน Band 6 ทั้ง “it help children” และ “When a child learn the recorder” ตกตัว s ท้ายคำ
Band 7 มีประโยคซับซ้อนหลายแบบ และหลายประโยคสะอาด ประโยค “Older pupils who are forced to continue may start to dislike music, which would cancel the benefit of the earlier lessons” ใช้ passive, modal และ relative clause ได้ถูกต้อง
Band 8 ขยายความหลากหลาย และประโยคส่วนใหญ่ไม่มีข้อผิดพลาด “Compulsory music in the first years, followed by a choice of their own, therefore seems a defensible arrangement” สร้างรอบ noun phrase กับ participle phrase และเครื่องหมายจุลภาคช่วยคุมจังหวะ ให้เทียบกับช่อง Grammatical Range and Accuracy (ความหลากหลายและความถูกต้องของไวยากรณ์) ที่ Band 7
กับดักของโจทย์แบบนี้
กับดักเหล่านี้มาจากคู่มือ agree or disagree และเห็นได้ทุกข้อในเรียงความ Band 6
