これは、まさに「explain why it was special」の核心です。

Band 6
I would like to talk about a wristwatch my grandfather give to me時制の誤り:正しくは「gave me」, which was actually his own watch that he wear時制の誤り:正しくは「wore」 for most of his adult life. He gave it to me on my eighteenth birthday, which was, er自然な間、気にならないつなぎ言葉, quite a big occasion, but what made it special is he didn’t just give it to me casually — he sit down with me before and explain時制の誤り:正しくは「sat down」と「explained」 where he bought it, many years ago, and some stories I never heard before, even though I know him my whole life. It is not a very expensive基本的な形容詞で、Lexical Resourceの評価が伸びない watch, and if I am honest, it doesn’t keep perfect time anymore, but the sentimental value is more important than that for me. What make it special to me is not really the object but the fact it come with主語と動詞の不一致:正しくは「it comes with」 those stories, it feels less like receiving a thing and more like, you know間を埋めるつなぎ言葉として使っている, being given a small piece of family history that I must keep now. I don’t wear it every day, mainly because I am scare形容詞の形の誤り:正しくは「I am scared」 to damage it, but I wear it on occasions that feel important, which I think is my way to treat it like treasure and not just use it casually.
Band 7
I’d like to talk about a wristwatch my grandfather gave me, which was actually his own watch that he’d worn関係詞節の中で過去完了を正しく使っている for most of his adult life. He gave it to me on my eighteenth birthday, which felt like a fairly significant occasion in itself, but what made it stand out was that he didn’t just hand it over casually — he sat down with me beforehand対比を示す表現で、文を自然にまとめている and explained where he’d bought it, decades earlier, along with a few stories I’d genuinely never heard, despite — well, despite having known him my entire life文の途中での自然な言い直し. It’s not an especially expensive watch, and if I’m honest, it doesn’t even keep perfect time anymore, but the sentimental value completely outweighs的確な動詞選び that. What makes it special to me isn’t really the object itself but the fact that it came with those stories attached; it feels less like receiving a possession and more like being handed a small piece of family history I’m now responsible of keeping前置詞の誤り:正しくは「responsible for」. I don’t wear it every day, mainly out of fear of damaging it, but I do wear it on occasions that feel significant, which I suppose is my own way of treasuring it rather than using it casually自然で的確な言い換え.
Band 8
I’d like to talk about a wristwatch my grandfather gave me — actually his own watch, which he’d worn同格と過去完了を自然に使っている for most of his adult life. He presented it to me on my eighteenth birthday, a significant occasion, but what made it stand out was that he didn’t simply hand it over; he sat me down beforehand and explained where he’d bought it, decades earlier, along with several stories I’d never heard, despite knowing him my entire life. It’s by no means an expensive watch, and, if anything, it no longer even keeps perfect time, yet複雑な対比の構造 its sentimental value far outweighs any of that. What makes it special isn’t really the object itself but the fact that it arrived with those stories attached; it feels less like inheriting a possession and more like being entrusted with a small fragment of family history慣用的で的確な言い回し. I rarely wear it day to day, out of fear of damaging it, but I do bring it out on occasions that feel meaningful, which I suppose is my own way of treasuring rather than merely using it的確で自然な言い換え. Looking back, what struck me most was振り返りを導く自然なつなぎの表現 how deliberate the gesture was — he’d thought carefully about the timing and the explanation, rather than it being some last-minute, generic present的確で自然な言い回し, and that thoughtfulness is what has stayed with me.
- バンド6の時制のミス(「my grandfather give to me」、「he wear」)は、バンド7では正確な過去形と過去完了(「he’d worn」)になります。バンド8は同格を加えて、さらに洗練させています(「actually his own watch, which he’d worn」)。
- バンド6は「very expensive」と「the sentimental value is more important」と言います。バンド7はそれを「outweighs」で引き締め、バンド8は締めくくりのイメージを「entrusted with a small fragment of family history」に引き上げています。
- バンド6の「I am scare to damage it」(形容詞のミス)は、バンド7では「out of fear of damaging it」になります。
- 「who gave it to you」の項目を忘れる、または贈り主に触れても関係性に言及せず、さらりと流すこと
- Do you think people put too much emphasis on expensive gifts?
- How have gift-giving customs changed with online shopping?
- Is it better to give a practical gift or a sentimental one?
- Do you think handmade gifts mean more than bought ones?
