  • how simple: own lunch, local bus, no plans, no rush
  • why special: long chat, laughed a lot, first calm day after exams

Band 8

After such a stressful month it was exactly what I needed, a genuine breath of fresh airExpresión idiomática usada con precisión, and I now try to repeat something similar every summer.

Qué hizo subir la banda

  • Los deslices de tiempo verbal y de concordancia de Band 6 (“a day out I have”, “we was”, “Timur jump”) son correctos en Band 7 y se mantienen limpios en Band 8.
  • Band 6 usa “really nice” y “very simple and calm”; Band 7 los mejora con “breathtaking” y “lost track of time”; Band 8 añade “a genuine breath of fresh air”.
  • Band 6 explica por qué el día fue especial en una oración plana; Band 7 usa una estructura hendida, “What made the day special was how unhurried it felt”; Band 8 la mantiene y añade un detalle vívido, “laughed until our sides hurt”.

  • Decir una y otra vez “it was fun” y “it was nice” sin un solo detalle concreto.
